  • You agree to comply with these Terms and applicable Indian laws.

Electronic communications and agreements may have legal validity under Indian law. Section 10A of the Information Technology Act, 2000 recognises that a contract is not unenforceable merely because electronic records were used in its formation.

3. Website Information

The information displayed on this website is provided for general guidance. We make reasonable efforts to keep product descriptions, service details, images and other content accurate and updated.

However:

  • Images may be illustrative.
  • Product specifications may change.
  • Availability may depend on stock and location.
  • Prices shown online may be indicative.
  • Estimated savings may vary between customers.
  • Website information does not replace a formal site survey or written quotation.

A binding service commitment is created only after Mukunda Tech issues and accepts a written quotation, work order, agreement or invoice, as applicable.

4. Enquiries and Quotations

Customers may contact Mukunda Tech through forms, telephone, email, WhatsApp or other approved channels.

A quotation may be based on information such as:

  • Property type and location
  • Roof area and structural condition
  • Electricity consumption
  • Sanctioned electrical load
  • Preferred system capacity
  • Grid availability
  • Battery requirements
  • Installation conditions

Initial estimates may change after a physical inspection, technical assessment or confirmation of material requirements.

Unless otherwise stated, a quotation is valid only for the period mentioned in it.

5. Site Survey and Technical Assessment

Solar-system suitability depends on several technical factors, including:

  • Roof direction and available area
  • Shading and sunlight exposure
  • Structural strength
  • Existing electrical infrastructure
  • Grid and net-metering conditions
  • Safety requirements
  • Access to the installation area

Mukunda Tech may revise or decline a proposed installation when the site is unsafe, technically unsuitable or materially different from the information initially provided.

The customer must disclose known structural, electrical, ownership or access-related issues before work begins.

6. Products and Services

Mukunda Tech may provide or arrange:

  • Solar photovoltaic systems
  • On-grid solar systems
  • Off-grid solar systems
  • Hybrid solar systems
  • Solar inverters
  • Battery-storage solutions
  • Mounting structures
  • Electrical components
  • Site surveys
  • System design
  • Installation and commissioning
  • Testing
  • Maintenance and support
  • Net-metering or subsidy-related assistance, where applicable

The exact scope of work will be stated in the relevant quotation, purchase order or service agreement.

7. Prices, Taxes and Additional Charges

All prices are subject to:

  • Applicable GST and government taxes
  • Product availability
  • Transportation requirements
  • Site accessibility
  • Installation complexity
  • Structural or civil work
  • Electrical upgrades
  • Government fees
  • Metering or approval charges

Charges for work not included in the accepted quotation may be billed separately after customer approval.

Mukunda Tech may revise prices before an order is confirmed. Prices will not normally be changed after written confirmation unless the customer changes the scope or unforeseen site conditions create additional requirements.

8. Payment Terms

Payment schedules will be stated in the quotation, invoice or project agreement.

Depending on the project, payment may include:

  • Booking or advance payment
  • Material-dispatch payment
  • Installation-stage payment
  • Final payment after commissioning

The customer must make payments through authorised channels and retain payment receipts.

Mukunda Tech may delay procurement, delivery, installation, commissioning or handover if an agreed payment is overdue.

Ownership of supplied products may remain with Mukunda Tech until all outstanding amounts are paid, where permitted by law and stated in the agreement.

9. Order Cancellation

Cancellation terms may depend on the project stage.

Before material procurement, cancellation may be accepted subject to administrative or survey charges.

After products have been ordered, customised or dispatched, the customer may be responsible for:

  • Supplier cancellation charges
  • Transportation expenses
  • Restocking charges
  • Customisation costs
  • Work already completed

Advance payments may be non-refundable where clearly stated in the quotation or where expenses have already been incurred.

Nothing in this section is intended to remove any non-waivable consumer right available under applicable law. The Consumer Protection Act, 2019 provides a statutory framework for protecting consumer interests and resolving consumer disputes in India.

10. Delivery and Installation Timelines

Any delivery or completion date is an estimate unless expressly confirmed in writing as fixed.

Timelines may be affected by:

  • Product availability
  • Weather conditions
  • Transportation delays
  • Site readiness
  • Customer approvals
  • Electrical shutdown availability
  • Government permissions
  • Distribution-company procedures
  • Net-metering approvals
  • Events beyond reasonable control

Mukunda Tech will make reasonable efforts to communicate material delays but is not responsible for delays caused by third parties, authorities or force-majeure events.

11. Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees to:

  • Provide accurate project and contact information.
  • Confirm ownership or legal authority over the site.
  • Provide safe and reasonable site access.
  • Keep the installation area clear.
  • Obtain permissions that are assigned to the customer.
  • Inform us about concealed wiring, pipelines or structural risks.
  • Follow operational and safety instructions.
  • Make agreed payments on time.
  • Avoid unauthorised modification of installed equipment.
  • Notify us promptly about faults or damage.

The customer is responsible for losses caused by inaccurate information, unsafe conditions or unauthorised interference with the system.

12. Government Subsidies and Net Metering

Mukunda Tech may assist customers with information or documentation related to subsidy, net metering or government solar programmes.

However:

  • Eligibility is determined by the relevant authority.
  • Approval is not guaranteed.
  • Subsidy amounts and rules may change.
  • Processing times are controlled by government bodies or distribution companies.
  • The customer must provide accurate and complete documents.
  • Mukunda Tech is not responsible for rejection or delay outside its control.

Unless expressly stated in writing, subsidy amounts should not be treated as an immediate reduction in the project price.

13. Performance and Savings Estimates

Solar generation and financial savings depend on factors including:

  • Weather and seasonal sunlight
  • Panel orientation and shading
  • System capacity
  • Equipment efficiency
  • Maintenance
  • Grid availability
  • Electricity tariffs
  • Customer consumption patterns
  • System downtime
  • Regulatory changes

Any generation, savings or payback figures are estimates and not guaranteed outcomes unless a specific performance commitment is included in a signed agreement.

14. Warranties

Products may be covered by manufacturer warranties. Warranty periods and conditions vary by product and brand.

Installation workmanship may be covered separately where stated in the quotation or service agreement.

Warranty coverage generally does not include:

  • Accidental damage
  • Misuse or negligence
  • Unauthorised repair or modification
  • Damage caused by animals or pests
  • Theft or vandalism
  • Fire, flood, lightning or extreme weather
  • Structural movement
  • Grid voltage problems
  • Failure to follow maintenance instructions
  • Consumable components
  • Normal wear and tear

Warranty claims may require invoices, serial numbers, photographs, inspection and manufacturer approval.

Mukunda Tech does not extend a manufacturer warranty beyond the terms offered by the manufacturer unless expressly agreed in writing.

15. Maintenance and After-Sales Support

Routine cleaning, inspection and maintenance may be necessary to maintain system performance.

Maintenance services are included only when specifically mentioned in the project agreement or an annual maintenance contract.

Customers should report faults promptly and avoid attempting repairs unless instructed by authorised personnel.

Service response times may depend on location, technician availability, product availability and the nature of the issue.
